To see things in a seed, that is vision.Text Box: Tags - Making them
You may print your tags on white or light colored cardstock or regular paper. Since we will use the different colors to help us sort at the end of the sale, please stick with one color.
NO TAGS: Items not having any tags nor illegible tags will not be processed into the Sale. Those items will be placed on our “reject” rack. Every Seller should check this rack for any of their items that may have been rejected. Any rejected items not claimed by the end of the sale will be considered a donation to LS.
INK - PRINTER: Be careful! The level of ink in your printer can effect the printing quality of your tags. High ink levels may cause blurring: while a low level of ink can produce illegible tags for humans and/or scanners.

Tags -Information on the tags
Description
Give a brief but good description of your item. This will also help if your tag becomes separated from the item or is mis-tagged.
When appropriate, write “like-new”, “new with tags”, or “worn once” on the tag.
Include the item’s name brand if it’s a selling point.
Include a printout for larager items including it’s original cost.
SIZE
If an item ran extremely small or large, tag it to the most appropriate size despite what the garment said; otherwise, use the actual labeled size.
PRICE
VERY IMPORTANT!!! Price items to sell. Buyers like to know they are getting a good deal.
Take into consideration selling the item at half price on the last day of the sale.
Use .50 cent increments when pricing.
Suggested pricing is around 25 - 33% of the original price depending on condition, features (brand name etc.)

USING LITTLE SPROUTS’ TAGS ???
LS recommends using tags generated from our site. In
doing so, we have better traceability of the items brought
to our sale; presently however, we are not making it mandatory
with the understanding that anyone not using our tags will not have this added protection for their items. As our waiver states:

"	I agree to hold harmless and make no claim against Little Sprouts Consignment Sale for ANY damage, theft or loss of any items, consigned to Little Sprouts Consignment Sale. I assume the risks of these events occurring by participating in the sale.”
NOTE: Little Sprouts strongly recommends that our tags are generated and attached to the larger and/or higher dollar items.
 	USING OTHER SALE’S TAGS (NOT
LITTLE SPROUTS TAGS)
Presently, we are accepting other sales’ tags; however, additional steps need to be taken to register, and sellers looses some security of their items. For more instructions on sellers using other sales’ tags, click on:
Text Box: TAGGING
Text Box: WHERE TO ATTACH YOUR TAG:

CLOTHING
Safety pinned (no stick pins, etc.) in the designated area on the tag (if you are using LS tags)
Where to pin tag - pin tag to front left shoulder of the garment with the hook turned away from the tag. See illustration below:
Multi pieces - attach items together with safety pins. For example, shirt and short sets should be pinned together and placed on the hanger.
Matching hats and socks - Outfits with small items can be safety pinned to the back of the garment so they won’t become detached and lost.
Smaller items - Socks, onesies, and etc. should be placed in Ziploc bags. Attach the tag to the outside with shipping tape (or whatever adhesive that will secure adhere to the plastic).
TIP: Smaller items such as socks, onesies and small toys will sell better if grouped together with like items
Pants - Do not fold pants over the hanger. Attach the waist band on the pants with safety pins to the top arms of the hanger
Shoes - Attach shoes (some people use twist ties, ribbons, or pins), or place in a Ziploc bag attaching the tag either on the bottom of the shoes or on the bag whatever is applicable.
Toys and Games
Toys - with pieces - should be sealed in Ziploc bags and taped shut with the tag taped to the outside of the bag.
Puzzles - may also be wrapped in cellophane and taped securely, with the tag taped outside.
Board Games - you can rubber-band boxes closed. Secure small pieces in a plastic bag inside the box.
Books
Use masking tape (not packing type) on items made of cardboard or paper (such as books), as packing tape may cause tearing.
Larger Items …. -
Tape the tag on the most visible part of the item
Layette items (comforters, bumper pads, bedding items, etc.) should have the tag pinned in a visible location. Sets will sell better if grouped and bagged together in a clear bag.
Cribs, changing tables, and etc. needs to be assembled by the seller during drop off and before the Pre-Sale. Secure tags enough to be viewed at the sale. Unassembled items will not be sold.
